Volunteering

will be taking part in conservation activity...

Conservation Activity with BTCV North East - Wednesday 4th July 2007 from 9am - 4pm - 15 volunteers needed to take part. The activity will be carried out in one of the North East nature reserve in Hexham, Northumberland alongside other volunteers from BTCV, the biggest conservation charity in the UK. Refreshments transport and tools will be arranged. Tasks will vary from tree planting to dry stone walling, footpath construction to creating wildlife habitats. No previous experience required as a trained project leader from BTCV will guide you through and you're free to work at your own pace.

yeah! what a great day i've been through. actually, the venue has changed at last minute to Washington Wetland. still interesting since we can enter free and enjoy the wetland too during lunch break...will upload some pics later, so tired...
