Flasback to 19th.Century

The shops around the Beamish Town are well stocked with the goods of that era, and the people work in the museum wear the 19th.century costumes even though less colourful but interesting cut. The costumes they are wearing really show a great differences with today's high street fashion.


...a confectionary shop selling a lots of sweets and chocolates...
great for sweet tooth and children...

...how sweet they are as sweet as the sweets & chocs...bought some chocs 
and really taste heaven...

...this is a motor workshop...

...here are some spare parts and motor oils...

...a textile & tailor shop...you can get your long john, hats, coat 
and all sort of textile of that era...

...the textile lady cum tailor...wearing white shirt and black long skirt...

...a grocery shop with with a great display of canned foods...

...old cash register machine a.k.a till machine...

...another section selling butter, margarine, smoke hammond...


...tobacco products...

...the display of the groceries...

...cookery and harware shop...



...a sweet lady shopkeeper...in sweet dress...
