Autumn in Côte d'Azur - Nice

My late entry for my trip to Nice in autumn. It was a hot autumn in Nice and around Cote d'Azur region and just felt like summer holiday...

Autumn in Côte d'Azur - Monte Carlo, Monaco

A close country situated in France is Monaco, just like Vatican City in Italy...a rather small country infamous with Monte Carlo Casino and also F1 racing...

...the Monte Carlo Casino for rich and famous to be seen...and nobody is allowed to take photo inside the building...but i managed to snap the toilet instead...hehehheee...

...and the loo of the infamous Monte Carlo Casino...

Sweet temptation...

Besides macaroons, this another french traditional sweets found in the Cote de Azure region...fruit glazing with sugar is tradition to the people in Cote de Azure...so beautifully presented and displayed...sweet sensation and temptation...

...the small mandarin oranges...

...another kind of fig that can be found at the market...

...green and red pears...

...kamquat...

...figs..

..sweet melon...

...peachy sweet...

...so sweet apricots...

A morning at Nice Sunday Market...

Some interesting vegetables that can be found in the markets around the Cote de Azure...

...the deep red colour of carrots caught the eyes...

...the pumpkin-shape tomatoes are bigger than the normal tomatoes...

...this one the name is in french and could not identify what kind of fruit/vege...but still interesting with fiery orange colour...

...green lemon with lemony-mild scent...

...mini yellow-green stripe brinjals...

Autumn in Côte d'Azur - Menton

Another great time walking around Menton old town with clear and sunny sky...most of the shops except the restaurants were closed during mid day and the people were having siesta...

...a rather small casino compare to the one in Monte Carlo...

...green bluish Mediterranean sea...

Autumn in Côte d'Azur...

A hot autumn in French Riviera...

...this is Menton, one of the towns along the French Riviera. Unscheduled visit after i missed Monte Carlo...a hot day in Menton which the temperature soared to 19 degrees and i was sweat like hell and thought to join the people soaking sun on the beach but i realised that i did not bring my swimming trunk...so i could not join the topless beach...ooopppssss!

Autumn leaves...

What a great view of autumn leaves when green turn to yellow and red. Trees along the road slowly shedding away the leaves under the autumn sun and gently blow by the cold breeze. What a sight...

the skylarks are already gone

gone with their happy song

in cold grey dawn

with a blowing gale

chill to the bone

and autumn leaves

beaming with warmth

...the pink cherry tree...the leaves almost gone...

...maple leaves turn to yellow before finally change to red...

...half stubbornly green and slowly turn to yellow red...

...golden yellow under the autumn sun...

Signs of winter...

Time of season change...it's autumn and the trees slowly shed away the leaves...

when the green leaves turn to yellow and red

when the cold breeze from the sea blowing hard 

and the seagull stop singing happily

it's time for winter to come...

Leaving Dubai...

Before departing to Kuala Lumpur...and the Dubai Airport is so much crowded with people...

...shopping heaven for all...

...an oasis in the airport...lucky is not hot like outside...walking through the date tress in the middle of the 'desert'...

...welkome on board but i just watched the map, trekking the plane all the way to KUL...lazy to watch all those movies...

...the terminal...and the control tower below...

...scorching hot desert below...

...up, up and away...to the paradise far, far away...

Dubai by Night...

Dubai by Night courtesy of Mr.KK...a nice friendly blogger of Dubai...a brief tour of old charms of Dubai and new Dubai...and i definitely will come back for a real tour...

...the Dubai Museum...like an old fort...

...parts of the Souk, a market complex in the old Dubai City...

...a great experience to ride the traditional boat or the Dohwacross one of the creeks, which divided parts of the city...during the wee hours and still bustling with people...

...the nice, friendly and charming Mr.KK who gave me a brief tour of Dubai...great thanks to Mr.KK for giving me a very informative of Dubai by Night...syukran ya Sheikh...;-)
